Google swallows Shoreline Technology Park for 1 billion

The search engine giant Google continues to grow rapidly. The company has just bought the approximately 21-acre Shoreline Technology Park for about $ 1 billion. The Shoreline Technology Park is even bigger than that, just a few hundred yards away from Google’s headquarters, also called Googleplex.

There are already twelve buildings on the Shoreline Technology Campus, most of which have already been rented by Google for its employees. In addition to Google, pharmaceutical manufacturer Alexza Pharmaceuticals is the only tenant on the sprawling site in Mountain View, California.
