WhatsApp vulnerability threatens millions of users

If you have WhatsApp on your smartphone, you should check the app for topicality. WhatsApp has released new releases for iOS (October 3) and Android (September 28) over the past few days. This was urgently needed, as experts from GData and Google’s Project Zero found that the previous versions had a vulnerability that allowed other programs to smuggle software into their smartphone unnoticed.
The current version for Android smartphones is version 2.18.302, for iPhones version 2.18.93. Who has these versions on his smartphone, is apparently no longer affected by the vulnerability.
