For a long time there were rumors, now Microsoft officially launched the Surface Go. The Surface Go is located as a low-cost entry-level tablet below the Microsoft Surface Pro. Depending on the version, the Surface Go should cost between 449, – Euro and 599, – Euro. The tablet is designed according to Microsoft for the productive use in the occupation as in the private one. Inside the device, an Intel Pentium Gold processor and an Intel HD graphics card destroy its service. The 1,800 x 1,200 pixel resolution 10-inch display can be brought into the so-called studio mode with the help of the built-in kickstand – an angle up to a maximum of 165 degrees. According to the manufacturer, the Surface Go offers a battery life of up to 9 hours and is equipped with a USB-C port. An LTE model of the device will be available later.

When choosing the Surface Go, customers choose between 4 and 8 GB of RAM, as well as between 64 and 128 GB of memory. Surface Go will ship to end users with Windows 10 Home in S mode. Corporate customers receive the device with Windows 10 Pro, which can also bring in the S mode. The cover keyboard, the mouse and the pen are not included as opposed to the Surface Pro. The cover keyboard costs 129, – Euro, the Surface Pen costs 110, – Euro and the mouse costs 36, – Euro.
