The Berlin-based FinTech startup N26 announced yesterday the launch of the black premium credit card “N26-Metal” at TechCrunch Disrupt in Berlin. “N26-Metal is more than just a premium banking product, it’s a map of the contemporary, digital lifestyle,” says Valentin Stalf, N26 founder and CEO of N26. “By cooperating with the best brands, we go much further than just offering pure financial products. Rather, we give our customers access to the best products and services in just a few clicks in the N26 app, “Stalf continues.

The new 18-gram black debit card has a tungsten metal core and, according to N26, is the first metallic card to support contactless payments via NFC. In addition to the value of the card, the special feature is the access to a multitude of advantages and premium products. The company argues that N26 Black customers have dedicated customer service, worldwide travel insurance and no extra foreign currency charges. moreover

In addition, owners of a “N26-Metal” can look forward to the cooperation with the covorkingspace provider WeWork as the first flagship partner for the exclusive program. The cooperation enables N26-Metal customers to be part of the global WeWork network and, for example, to use conference rooms or workplaces in various WeWork locations around the world for free. N26 also wants to expand its partner program continuously through leading international brands.
