Does the smartphone of the future have no battery?
Scientists from the University of Washington are currently working on a phone, which is to be self-charging by the ubiquitous cosmic radio waves. The energy required by the device is so low that it can be obtained from the air or from radio waves. This may sound futuristic, but is now feasible with the prototype.
Until the market launch, however, it would take a bit longer, since a few hurdles have to be cleared out, but now the prototype of the device can be talked about.
